I have a tiger river spas manora. Serial #M361261. I believe it is a 1996 and it has a two button controller for jets and light and a rotary knob for temperature control and a rotary knob for jet adjustment. I just got this thing a few weeks ago and the heater has been working on and off since

All the jets function and the pumps are not surging. The lights also work and these will work continuously. The problem is the water seems to not be heating for a week. I've tried to check the voltage for the heater by unplugging the heater from the control box and putting a voltmeter on it but maybe I'm doing something wrong because I can't get voltage there even after resetting the GFCI for 30 seconds. The only thing I noticed is the 24 hour pump seems to be pretty warm for a pump leading me to believe the flow might be blocked but I can feel and see flow current in the tub from it. Any insights on where i should start or how I could flush out the plumbing? There is some flaky white stuff floating in the water as well. Hope this is enough info to get me started on troubleshooting.

P.S. Anyone in the San Francisco area want to make some cash troubleshooting? I can't even get a hold of any repairment.

do you have water coming out from where the circulation pump discharges?

Without that, your heater is pretty much dead in the water.

Yep there is plenty of flow from the circulation pump. My speculation is a bad temp sensor on the heater.

If you have no voltage then something is shutting off power to the heater. Possibly the temp sensor...you can check those by setting the meter to ohms and seeing what they read.

With a 96 Manora there is also a good chance that it is the thermostat board underneath that top control panel. If the temp sensors test good then I would check there next.

Is the red power light flashing on the control box?
