well found out what was wrong with it. the fused disconect on the side of the hous has 4 clips that slide over 4 blades 2 of them for each leg of 120v. one side the clips weren't making contact so i was only running the heater on a single leg. crimped down a bit and 3 hrs later were sippin margaritas in the tub! thanks for your help there charger.

lol sounds good. One of these days I will remember to have ppl check their incomming power FIRST... it does happen quite often where they loose one side of the power. Thanks for the update
