I have a sundance Montego spa that will not heat. After searching the net for some answers I have tested the power going to the heater. I only get 220 volts when both pumps are running at high speed. Anything else and I got nothing! What could be the problem! What else can I test. I can feel the heater getting hot also when both are running full speed.

Just for refrence about 1-2 months ago the spa was heating up so high that we could not even get one foot in it. We turned it down and but the temp. would'nt lower. I then turned off the breaker for a day or two and now no heat!

Thanks you guys so much for the help. If you need any more info from me let me know I will gladly post it!

Thanks again
Dustin

Try cleaning your filters, or adjusting the press/switch. Does the spa have a small, seperate circulation pump dedicated to the heater, or is it supposed to heat on low speed?

Right now I have the filter out so it does not restrict the water flow...

Yes there is a small pump right before the heater. I have clear tubes from the pump to the heater and I can see water running into and then out of the heater.

Thanks for your help so far!

Ok for whatever reason I now have the tub heating. I added a little water and now its fine??

Next problem. Now that the water is heated up I have no air or jets. When I hit the jet button nothing, the light on the control panel does come on. On the air when I hit the button I hear just a click in the control box.

Help me please!

I'd check to see if the air blower is still plugged into the control box :)
