I own a Jacuzzi Z-150, which has a Balboa Control Board H-276(P/N 51429). The Unit 'died' without any reason - It had the red light, but none of the Jets/Blowers would come on. When I checked the Control Board, the Fuse that is soldered to the Board (F4) had blown (tested it with a multimeter) and also the brown flat-round capacitor (Z2) had cracked.
Before I spend $200 - $300 on a new control board, I would like to confirm that there is nothing wrong with the Spa components that is causing this problem, to prevent the new board from blowing a fuse/capacitor. Are there any checks that I can perform before I install a new board?
Another question is about the old board. Does it make sense to fix the components (Capacitor and Fuse) on the old board? If so, will you have their specifications (If you are not clear about the Capacitor and Fuse that I am refering to, I could attach a photo/image of it)
