... and a place to get controller parts (relays, thermostat, etc.)
My old Hotspot Round is not shutting off the pump at the hight temp set point, keeps running until the high temp switch kicks it off.... any tips appreciated.
TIA,
KC

Sounds like the main t-stat, does the pump turn on and off when you turn the t-stat up and down?

Thanks jeffz. The pump turns on after pluggin in and turning the t-stat up, but doesn't turn off when turning t-stat down. So I gues it's the t-stat or a stuck relay.
Do you have any idea where I can get a schematic or parts list for a 93 Watkins Hotspot spa? I already looked all over the net.
Thanks,
KC

I can get you the t-stat and relay, I'm not too sure on the Hotsprings Hotspot schematic, the are sometimes hard to come by.

Very common on the '93 Hot Spot. Replace both the low-speed pump relay, as well as the heater relay.. they're both 110v dc coil 20 amp T-91's...and located right next to eachother. If you can't locate any T-91's, T-92's will work fine, but you'll need to change the size of the wire connecter on the coil wires. It's possibly the T-stat, but about 99% of the time (On this model), it's a relay...
While you're in there, since you have to drain the tub to work on these little buggers, (which makes repair a PITA), inspect for burnt wires, especially on the diode from the 10 min delay timer to the main interlock relay, all wires on the main interlock relay, the fuse-holder/mini-breaker assymbly, and air switch...
Enjoy,
