I have seen a number of people selling spa cover lift plans for the diy person. Has anyone ordered these and build the the spa cover lift? I was thinking about building my own and ordering the plans. I have searched the web but do not find any free plans anywhere.

Thanks for any advice on these.

*LOL*

That was my guess. 4 lengths of PVC, 4 90's and a couple of pipe straps.

Basically a plastic Ideal EZ Lifter

I've seen a "new" idea for a spa cover lifter on ebay, it's made of 3/4" or 1" copper, and uses a cradle design rather than the flip over in the center design. Just thought I would add to the forum. I would personally make one myself out of either pvc or copper (depending on weight of the cover) if I didn't already have a covermate III LOL
