I just bought a Down East Cape Cod Tub. I did not purchase the cover lifter and now I need to decide which lifter or set up would be best for us.

We built a deck to set the tub on exactly the size of the tub. Is there a coer lifter that will store the cover below the level of the tub? I did not purchase the lifter the dealer had because it would block our view. We live in a great place and I hate to block the view of the deer, bluffs, etc when soaking in the tub.

Thanks,
Linda

What about a cover caddy? Does anyone have one? Do you have to fold the arms in when not in use or do they stay out?

I want something that I do not have to fold in and out to get it to work. I cannot not get to the side the cover will be stored on. I can get to it but I would have to walk off the porch and down steps to open the arms everytime.

I am not sure if that one will work. The arms look like they fold in too. I don't want to have to go off the deck to open or close the arms. Also, what if a strong wind came while I was in the tub would it not blow it off of the arms? THen I would be scrambling to pick up the cover.

Thanks for the idea!

Linda
