I'm interested in getting a color glo bulb and have a 1999 vita spa essence. I removed the bulb thats there now and it was a ge912, i measured the inside dia of the plastic holder, about 2 inches, but did not measure how much depth I have. How do you know whether to get the 9 bulb or 24 bulb, color glo homepage just says "large spa"? Thanks for any help.

unless i am mistaken , that color glo bulb is the same diameter, they just pack in more led's

however, check this out first, your vita essence is close to a year that they were using a dim function in the spa. Press the light button once, the light comes on, press it a second time, it stays on but dimmer, and press it a third time it goes off. I dont think that the bulb your asking about will either work, or will work for long, as it is not made to use with a dim function.

Well you have a good memory, yes the vita has 3 position lighting, off, full,dim. Anyway I went ahead and got the 24 LED and it works fine. Just need to push twice to have it turn off, and if I want to change cycles I just have to go thru the button quickly.
PS Glad I got the 24 the smaller would have been to weak.
