Can anyone tell me does a flow switch run all the time or does it kick in based on low water pressure or flow???? Can't find a place to plug my flow switch in on my Cal Spa PS-5.

Any ideas???

A flow switch is used only for verificaton of water flow during low speed heat cycle, so the heater doesn't "dry fire" (heat with no water flow).
