i have a 1999 hot spring sovereign. the wavemaster 7000 humms when the spa is plugged in, then it will kick the breaker off! can anyone help with this problem? thanks

I am assuming you are referring to the pump humming then kicking the breaker off. There are a few sources to this problem. Bearing worn or locked up; bad starter capacitor; bad starter switch (inside motor housing); stuck impeller; not getting full power. First thing i would check is proper voltage, then check for free movement of the impeller (should be able to access the shaft between the housing and motor), then suspect internal damages, such as capacitor, bearings, or switch.
