i have a leak somewhere in the hot tub, and i know with the classic its hard to get to sometimes with the skirt being plastic and not removable. I was wondering if its possable to get rid if the skirk about a inch or so down from the tile and make a ceder skirt.

If you can raise it and attack from the bottom, not terribly difficult. But you need a lift, or some sort of safe way to raise and support it.

It's not that easy. Sometimes, even when you have the cracked line dug out from the foam you don't even know it until there is water running through it while the tub is elevated and running.
Not trying to discourage you but leaks in these tubs are very tough to find if not safely elevated and filled as Swine said.
Couple of questions that may pinpoint the leak:
Did you check the light lens from inside motor compartment for residue?
Did the tub freeze?
Is it wet in the back near the moto-massage jets?
Did you double-check the drain cap o'rings...it happens all the time.

Don't tip and dig. RAISE, refill, and dig while it's full of water. Hence the need for a safe support.
Good luck- usually around the motto bleedline (if equipped) or mini-jet above the moto's.

Uncharted territory- you're the first I'm aware of.
Good luck!
