We decided to go with the Cal SQ-63 and now we are going to put it inground, and was wondering what your comments and or suggestions are about recessing it where it will be about 18 inches height. The housing will be behind the tub approximately 3ft away with a box to cover it. Tub takes approx 2 weeks to get after order, then install, create surround, do pave stone deck, and landscape, so if all goes well we should be "tubbing" by the middle of October!!!!! can't wait

I wanted to partially submerge my spa when I installed it, I went with an 18" height for a bench all of the way around. You won't be disappointed in doing so...
