I am about to have a contractor pour me a 12x12 pad for my Spa and would like to know how much of a slope I should have? I haven't purchased the hot tub yet, but several manuals from various manufactures have conflicting info. One recommends a 1" slope for every 10 feet so that water drains and does not collect under the hot tub, another recommends level. Please advise. Right now I would say I am looking to do the 1" over 12 feet.

I have the same question, my pad is being poured on Monday. Can the pad have a slight crown in the center to drain water away? How much, if possible?

best is no pitch. water will only collect if it's dished.

No matter what, make sure the slab is FLAT. If you have a crown, you will put undue stress in the center of the tub. A slight slope is ok, and maximum slope is 1" per 12'. Level is what I prefer
