Had our new tub for 8 days now. All the levels seem to be fine except I can't get the bromine up. I started (2 days or so) with just the pucks.....five of them in the floater open almost wide. (340 gallons). It wasn't even registering on my strip. A friend with a spa told me to get powdered bromine and that would fix me right up. Over the last 6 days, I've put a dose in almost every day.....and i'm still registering nil about 6 hours later.

I've seen something about 'oxodizer'.....is this like a bromine shock almost? or is it the powdered bromine i already have?

Any comments or ideas would be geatly appreciated!

Be sure that what you're using for measurement hasn't expired.

Get some new test strips to double check.
