Hi,
We are brand new spa owners. After testing the water, we are having to add calcium boost. We have cleaned the filter a couple of times and each time there is alot of calcium flakes in the filter. Why is this happening? It is not floating in the water, it is just all in the filter. This is a brand new spa and since we are new to having a spa, we don't understand. Do you add the calcium boost to the water or through the filter?
Thanks.

Chemicals are added to the water, be sure to follow the directions, usually you have to mix a chemical in some water to dilute it, then add it to the spa. You might think about keeping a bucket around for this purpose, make sure you rinse it completely after each use.
