OK - so, I am a bit of a nerd and geek.
I have my pre-owned 2002 Sundance Optima up and running, added a new Ozonator (CD and OEM for Sundance), and have been enjoying the shooting stars overhead on our cooling autumn nights here in Wisconsin.
Now for the meat --
I keep my small above ground pool nicely balanced and understand its needs - bright sunshine, hot summer days, a solar blanket, and kids... I know her habits and maintain it quite easily. Obviously, a spa is a different animal. So here I go:
With an ozonator, am I still aiming for the ANSI/NSPI and NSPF guidlines for keeping my chlorine at the ideal levels constantly? This means do I chlorinate to maintain the ideal levels 24/7? Do I let my FC slip to 1 or zero if I know I am not using it until tonight, or tomorrow night, or even the night after? Should I chlorinate no matter what the bather load is....
I think I have everything nicely balanced (chloriated this morning - now 4:15pm and have the following -- FC = 4.0, CC = 0, pH 7.4 (added 1.25oz. this am), TA = 120 ppm.
Thanks for the advice.
