Old time pool owner ,new spa owner! The spa came with fine mesh covers on the water intakes in the tub. This may be silly but are they supposed to stay on? They keep getting knocked off as the people use the spa.
One other question,do most people in the cold states(winters in the teens and below) winterize and close their hot tubs?
Thanks for the great info in the forums. :?:

mesh screens are usually for keeping sand out of the spa's diverter system. They should be kept on. Maybe get some new ones from the local dealer. Most people keep 'em filled and use them. It's the best time to use it. Although some spas consume more electricity than others and people can not justify the cost to run them.
