Have you been keeping a proper PH level in your tub at all times? It sounds that you may be high on the alkaline scale. You might even want to have the "total hardness" checked, which you can get home tests for.

I have the same lime buildup. Does anyone know the best and easiest way to clean these lime deposits. I have a tile hot tub
