I have a Ultra Pure ozone generator on my 8 year old tub that is not making bubbles. I'm not sure what type of ozone generator it is and if it can be repaired or needs replacing. If it needs replacing, should I get the same one or something different/better. Any help is appreciated.

Ozone generators may produce a small amount of bubbling, but only to do it's job. If you aren't getting bubbles through your jets during use, you need to open up your air venturi's, replace your jet internal seals, or remove the obstruction in the air lines. Ozone generators do nothing for this sort of problem. However, being 8 years old, it's due for a replacment anyway.

I guess I didn't explain properly. Nothing wrong with the jets. I'm refering to the bubbles that the ozonator used to produce through it's own little hole. Sounds like I should replace it? I guess it's a UV type? Should I stick with the same type, same unit, different type?
Thanks

Does the ozonator incorporate an air pump to produce bubbles? Most ozonators do not (but some do). Most ozonators simply produce ozone, and use a venturi valve or ozone jet where a vacuuim is created by either the jet pump or seperate circulation pump ti introduce the ozone.
Most ozone generators don't have much to do with the bubbles, although it sounds as though you are ready for replacement anyway. A new ozonator likley won't solve the no bubbles problem...

sounds like there is air getting into the line-- do you see water dripping anywhere?
