:D just bought a new spa that came with BaquaSpa non-chlorine / bromine poducts. I am used to chlorine in the past. Any upside or downside to using this vs. chlorine or bromine?

Thanks

I used Baqua for a year and had the hardest time keeping the water clear and non-green. I switched to chlorine last week. Thus, my vote is for chlorine.

Chlorine is the best sanitizer, Bromine second, anything else I wouldn't even mention. Bromine is more corosive to the spa and is harder to maintain. The upside is for most people there is no or very little odor. I use chlorine religousy

One concern I had heard was that chlorine can fade the color of the tub. Any experience with this?

Thanks for you replies.

I've never seen the color of a tub affected by standard levels of chlorine. I have seen covers eaten away from bromine though.
