 Post subject: Yellow Scum Green Water... What the??

OK normal weekly treatment to my Tiger River 300 Gal. Spa
Added one and a half teaspoon Chlorine Shock and Boom
Yellow scum developes and sticks to walls and water is clear greenish..
Yellow scum is rubbery... What can you tell by this all levels read good.

Any chance you used Baqu- Spa recently?

nope... not even sure what that is..
I only use spa perfect, and ph down on occasion and a basic stain and scale sanitizer and that's it, granulated chlorine to shock..

Baqua products
YES
I mixed Baqua Sanatizer with Chlorine and Puff
Yellow gue everywhere what a nightmare

You learned the hard way. It doesn't play well with Chlorine (or any halogen sanitizer, for that matter) :cry:
