We are looking on buying Leisure Bay spa and jsut wante some info from the more experienced buyers.
This is the top of the line new G-3 series Flores. It has pop-up streamers, 3 waterfalls, lights, 2 5 hp pumps, 10 year warranty, and more.
The company has a floor model that includes the cover, steps, delivery and start-up for the unbelieve price of $6700.... that the wya the salesman said it!
Is this a good deal? He said they would do 0% fin. also.
Thanks in advance.

Did you ever get this spa? We put a deposit on a Salida, also in the G-3 series but trying to find out more info before I go through with the purchase. The price is amazing for the features. Too good to be true?

Leisure Bay is huge into marketing. Uprate HP, warranty is misleading.
1 year labor warratny, 2 years parts, no mention of "leak" in plumbing writing. Read the fine print. You buy a spa for comfortable seating, good therapy, filtration, low energy costs...not waterfalls, lights and BS.

Say what you want...
I have had the Leisure Bay Flores for a year now with the stereo package and upgraded lights and jets... We love it. Use it about 3 days a week. I am no expert but in a tub with just under 100 jets I think it is amazing the darn thing has never had a leak! Even when new. I think we got a quality spa.
Previous poster is also wrong. Our friends LOVE the 4 fountain jets. On low they are the perfect level and sound of moving water... Trust me.. Heck, feel free to email me and I can attest.
This is an amazing spa.
Only negative things I cannot comment on: I don't think it is the most energy efficient brand so I just ordered a spa blanket. Also, I cannot comment on the warranty b/c we haven't had ANYTHING go wrong! Volcano jet is a little weak. We didn't get an ozonator. Wish we had...
Also, make SURE you get a stereo that plays MP3's!!! That way you are not constantly changing cd's. I am hoping that will make the unit last longer....
email me at berhodes@hotmail.com if you have more questions or want pictures of this awesome tub.

Hi Bobs Family,
10 year pro rated warranty. Years one through Two, 100% coverage on equipment. Years Two through Ten 50% coverage on equipment. (Cost )
Labor warranteed for full 10 years.
First year of "In Home Service" covered by the store, within a certain mileage radius, then applicable trip charge applies. Lifetime Manifold Plumbing warranty. Lifetime shell waterloss, and lifetime structure.
I don't know what Kyle dislikes about LBI Spas, but the afore mentioned sounds pretty good to me.
Basicly, LBI is able to recoup any failure due to craftsmanship, or materials through there vendors during the first year.Year two is a complete loss.
The rest of the warranty period is at cost. ( no margine made, or lost )
Kyle may be upset at the wrong folks for the "Uprate" thing. ( by the way, who was the first manufacturer to wash out the good ole service factor anyway?)....I Digress..
They are holding on the stereo thing right now ( I guess it wasn't like they thought it would be), and the features are OK. They are also on hold for the backlit "Sheeting" Waterfall.
If you can get the Flores without the imperial package, it may be a good idea.
Kyle may not know this, but the 65 G 3 ( Flores ) uses Aquaflo XP2 pumps like every one else, and Balboa Like every one else.
Solid Machine
Enjoy!

Well seems to me all the MFG's sell brake or up-rated HP. No biggie. They all spend big bucks marketing. Most of them sell radios installed of some sort. Most of them seem to have problems with the way they install them. I could think of easier ways to get good sound around your spa without having to buy one with it installed. Most spa warranties are limited of type. I think if you buy a spa because it has a good warranty your nuts because they all read the same to me. Try reading them? They all have disclaimers on what they will not cover. If you buy an extended warranty then I think your really really nuts.
As far as the quality goes for LBI G3. It's a nice spa. I would buy it over a few others like , Caldera, Bullfrog, Vita, and many others. Simply my opinion since I'm familiar with them. There are other spas I would buy over the lBI G3 just to be fair. You should buy what you like, fits your plans and budget. Look for good quality, good efficiency and a good service tech. I wouldn't go as far as solid machine but would say it's a good bargain for the price for a big spa.
Let us know after you enjoy what you buy and why you choose to buy it.
Good Luck
P.S. I dont think Watkins uses Balboa or Aqua Flo ? Not everyone uses it.

I disagree about the stereo. Don't get me wrong, I went to the store and said; "I want a hot tub with every option except the stereo". But due to a good deal I thought I was getting I ended up getting one. Best thing we ever did. Because of the trickling water sound with the low power fountain setting of any tub you really need the speakers at the tub. You might as well get a great waterproof built in system like the LB spas have just to make it seamless. It sounds great!
Plus there is the cool factor.
Liesure bay puts a REALLY nice system in theirs. We made them change our model cause the new one plays MP3's. A MUST!!! Don't let them tell you otherwise. One cd = hudred or so songs...
Also, mainly when we are in our tub we just have the crossfire fountains on, waterfall, and the ribbon fountain. All on the low setting of course. This is one of the nicest features of the Flores.
Enjoy.

Hey Berhodes , Thought I would drop by and see how things are going with your Flores these days ? 1 year older it is.... hope your still around ?
I was at REC Warehouse last week and couldn't believe how low their prices were on some of their spas compared to the others in my area. I don't know how they do it.
I disagree to disagree but that's ok ....... I'm glad you bought a spa you like because that's what's most important.

That's what it's all about So keep us posted if you get a chance to see this.
