Anyone out there have info on Coast Spas?':roll:'
We have done SOOOOOO much research and the Coast Spa seems good in many ways:

1) seems to be quality built
2) has great warranties
3) we like the dealer
4) he let us go through his books and contact other customers at will to question their service by him and their operating costs
5) wet tested great
6) decently priced
etc.

You get the picture. Our worry stems more from the negatives we have heard on chat boards regarding the OLD association with Cal Spas and a general lack of new information on the boards (good or bad) on the Coast name.

They are highly respected as a company in Canada, but no one that I know has one or has heard of them.

You did good research just dont ever buy a CAl spas they will not back up their product. Sure they gave us references and sold us on the motor and all but when my tub was delivered it hasnt worked correctly since and its been 1 1/2 years since we got it. Horrible customer service it doesnt matter who you call they dont care. I believe they are really just a front for the mafia and launder drug money thats why they dont care. I sure wish someone from cal spas gave a **** and would call me or email me but they wont cause they are chickens...

Dont ever buy a Coast spa!!!!!!! What a horror story. They look well built but are just the opposite. To many MAJOR PROBLEMS!!!!!!! to list that went wrong and continue to go wrong from the getgo. Coast Spa Manufacturing (In CANADA) will not return your long distance phone calls (which I have made many) if you need them. Or they will lie to you and tell you they are looking into it and never call you back. Service is another horror story. No one independantly rates and evaluates these hot tubs and the manufactures know that. Who wins? guess who. But the internet is changing that now with people like you and I in such forums as these. I am telling you first hand of almost 3 years of ownership, Do not buy a Coast Spa. I contacted Consumer Reports Magazine and stressed the great need for them to step in due to my very bad expeirience with Coast Spas and others on forums such as these. There response is they are considering it. Consider joining a gym or the like where a hot tub might be available to you. Good Luck.
