Hello everyone!

I'm buying my first tub and I'm confused about a heater issue. I'm looking to buy a small 3 or 4 person tub and I saw some units with a "heat stick" instead of a conventional heater. Anyone here have one? I'm in NC and would like to use it in the winter (around 40 degrees). Will a tub without a conventional heater work? They say it will maintain 104 degrees.....
