 Post subject: Ozonator?
PostPosted: Tue Mar 30, 2004 10:21 pm
Me again!

This Calspa (have heard bad things about that brand... ture?)
tol dus that the ozonator wasn't necessary... that if we REALLY wanted it then fine... but that really we'd only save 10$ a year in chemicals

Do we need an ozonator? If so what are the pros/cons?

I am more than likely not buying a Calspa... although my dad who is also shopping for a hot tub really likes them. I am just too scared with all the feedbacks I have read online.

Opinions welcome!

Thanks

Renee

Be very careful how you evaluate Hot Tubs and Spas and listen to others that don't have a clue as to what they're talking about!

Cal Spas is one of the most successful and recognized industry leaders when it comes to manufacturing spas.

Whew! Wow, That advice about the ozonator? You've got to be kidding! Listen, whatever you do, get an ozonator on your tub. It's the cleanest and most efficient enemy against biological stuff growing in your tub that you can have. And you'll save a WHOLE lot more than $10 a year!

Tell you what, Listen to your DAD.

Do your shopping... but do NOT rely on scuttlebut on the internet about whether or not a spa is good or bad. There is hardly a manufacturer around that has produced as many tubs as Cal Spas... Well, besides Jacuzzi and Hot Springs.

You have to remember, that people will ALWAYS complain when something goes wrong, but rarely will they say anything when it goes right.

Please keep that in mind and please stop listening to those that don't know what they're talking about... (especially about ozonators! If this was a Cal Spa dealer then ignore that man's words!).

Thanks and good luck!
