We just recently purchased a new spa from Master Spas. It is the LS850 model. We were blown away by the knowledgeable and friendly staff at the showroom and appreciated the non-aggressive sales approach. They were more than willing to work with us and more importantly, our budget. They weren't pushing the "top-of-the-line" unless we had shown interest.

Anyways, has anyone else worked with this dealer before and what has been your experience with the product? I noticed that there were a lot of people recommending the likes of Cal-Spas and such. This company (Master Spas) has been in business for 25 years and seems reputable. Just looking for someone to "comfort" me before the spa is delivered.

After a few responses I will share with you the price that we paid after rebates.

Well being that many have looked at the post but haven't replied I am assuming that not many people here have dealt with Master Spas?

After all of the rebates my wife and I purchased this spa for $2,999. The spa was delivered yesterday and I was a little concerned. There was dirt and debris in the bottom of the spa as well as some staples (paper staples not the industrial type) and a cigarette butt. I took into consideration that the spa was last years model and was sitting in a warehouse. The cigarette butt could have been from the delivery person smoking in the truck and discarding it. I checked the tub and there were no scratches or burns. The delivery men actually climbed into the tub and cleaned everything out and wiped the whole thing down after placing the spa.

All in all the spa fired up fine and was up to 102 degrees this morning. The pH and alkaline level are a little high but mechanically and structuraly the spa seems to be operating in top condition.

If someone is in the market for a spa and can get the deal that we received I highly recommend the consideration of this product.

Yes Master Spas has been around and I've had no complaints other than the typical run of the mill stuff. And getting one with junk in it is no big deal considering how much you paid for it. Perhaps post a photo of your new installation in the USA category from the home page (at the bottom).

Thanks,
Brian

I bought a LSX1050 in Utica Mi last month. I also looked at LS850. The selling price was three times what you say you paid. Did you only pay 3000 or did you pay 8000 with promised rebate years in the future? If this is the case you need to look at threads on other forums , all of which claim these rebates are a scam.

good luck collecting on the rebates. I work with Cal Spas and would never offer the rebate ripoff! You should consider Cal Spas again.
