My husband an I are going to wet test the Siberian in a few days. We anticipate liking this tub and can't seem to find information on what a good price would be to pay. We live in the Mid-Atlantic area. Could anyone give us an idea of a fair price to expect to pay?

Call a two or three Hot Springs / Tiger River dealers out of state (that obviously are out of this dealer's competitive reach), and ask them. (if they'll give you a straight answer).

The real key here is to shop more than one dealer if at all possible. Just be sure that you give the original dealer a chance to beat the last deal you get. (Yeah everybody hates this, but it's the way of the world).

In NJ we paid $7,150, delivered, including cover lifter, starter kit, and a upgraded set of steps

I was quoted $6800(cash price) for cover, delivery, and everfresh system, but I might be able to get it cheaper.

Just don't agonize over the process too much. Trying to get it cheaper and going to all methods and the end of the world to do it all for virtually nothing isn't worth the hassle imo. If you're getting a killer deal, (which can sometimes be impossible to tell) - and the situation feels good, my advice is usually just 'go for it'. Or just do it and get it over with. Think about the spa, not the money. This money, is money invested in yourself.

After all, a hot tub is a physical thing, it gets old and deteriorates with age and wear. It loses value 'the moment you drive it off the lot'... in car speak. Buy it, enjoy it, and forget it...

Every day expended trying to get it cheaper is another day you don't enjoy in your new tub. Life is short.

:-)
