hi
just purchased a 1998 coleman spa (448)
paid 1850 and was told all parts were up to date-the shell looks brand new and was given a 250.00 cover. overall its attractive. one day after we had it we got a FLO alert. they came out and replaced the switch apologizing. well that nite we got in at a temp of 95 and it never moved. we shut off the breaker and it worked but tonite same thing. also i noticed upon hitting the program button it says LOC.....i am very mad as we have been very patient up to this point. they are getting a call first thing AM
any advice?

First,
You've inadvertently locked the panel controls. This is a feature of the system, not a problem.

To unluck simply press the DOT key, DOT DOT key, then the DOWN ARROW (Temp Setting) key. Use the UP ARROW key to lock it.

Second,
about 90+% of the time, anytime you move a used spa, the heater element will fail within 6 months or less.

Everything you've seen happen to me sounds like a very normal thing for purchasing a used spa. A new heater element is only 39 bucks for that system and very easy to replace.

oh! ok-thanks-thats good to know
but....i dont have a DOT button. i have program(which is where i get the LOC mode-which was fine the first 2 days anyway...) and a MODE button along with the temp up and temp down....i went down and tried a few things but it didnt work.....
as far as the heating element thats interesting-like i said it worked for the first day or 2 now nothing. BUT when hubby went down and turned off and then back on again it heated up only to fail by morning---sigh----
its good to know its not expensive and being that weve only had this for 4 days i believe he will replace it as hes already replaced the switch when we had the FLO light on.
