My only concern would be long term durability.

If they're base styrofoam with some concrete like surface poured over... I'd definitely not have a love fest over them.

It says: This item ships in 2 boxes, each box containing 3 pads each for a total of 6 pads.

I just wonder what the base material is.

I could be wrong but I would think that it is some heavy duty plastic...
