Hello.
First, thanks for the GFI forum. Using it, I trouble shot the new (to me) hot tub that I had installed back in October. With the ozone generator unplugged, I no longer have the GFI tripping.
The electrician that had supposedly been attending to the issue obviously didn't do any basic trouble shooting. But, I'm not going to digress and *itch about him.
So, my next step is to purchase a Marquis Spa ozone replacement. It is the PM (mini j and j ? ) plug type. I got that spec from a site that sells replacement ozone generators, so it could be inaccurate. I could post a photo if that would be beneficial. The current ozone generator is a cylinder about 10 inches tall, black, says marquis spas on it.
The spa is a 2003 Marquis Coastal Series "Reward". I would prefer to purchase the manufacturer's replacement part. But, I guess I could be convinced that an OEM/replacement ozone generator could be used instead. I mean, all it does is make a highly reactive gas...
I did some searches online, but haven't found the correct one. This is close (
