I have a GLS Sunlighter with a Brett Aqualine CM-104. In the last week it would try to start and click on and off then stay on. Now it starts and runs for about fifteen seconds and stops. Repeats about every five minutes. Will not start when the timer calls for it to. Any idea where to start with this thing? I replace the timer about two months ago and has been running fine. Any help is appreciated.

You mean the pump comes on every five minutes or the controls? Sounds like the motor is overheating.

Since my posting the pump motor is running fine when the timer calls for it to run. When the pump motor is off and the thermostat calls for the it to turn on it will turn on/off 3 to 4 times in very rapid succession and then finally stays on. Runs fine then shuts off after coming up to temp.

Very rapid like a chattering (less than five seconds) or does it take longer than that?

Rapid chatter is very descriptive of it!

Your thermostat is probably the culprit, since the same relay powers the pump on low for both situations.

Can you give me an idea of what I am looking for? I have located the pressure switch, the high limit switch, a compontent labeled Aquatemp, and the two Furnas motor starters.

It's a part of your topside control which is plugged in on the bottom left hand side of your pack.

The top side control is a TDI Command Center (photo attached). I do not find anything like this on line. Is there an alternative?
